There are tons of ugly cars out there, but 10 are so ugly that they deserve to be on a special list. Take a look at the top 10 most ugly cars of 2014.
10: Porsche – Yes, all of them.
Porsche sits at spot 10 for their lack of style differences. All of their models look very similar. Looking at the front of the vehicles the only main difference is their height and grill opening. While I admire the 911, I feel that the iconic look does not belong throughout the entire Porsche line-up.
9: Jeep Cherokee
While many people enjoy the redesign of the Jeep Cherokee, I am not one of them. The headlights look like they are squinting and the grill looks like the SUV is showing its teeth.
8: Chevy Spark
While the Chevy Spark is a good economy car it looks like it was supposed to be a station wagon that was smashed until there wasn’t enough room for a normal people to sit in… At that point, Chevy decided that if they put the cheapest price tag on it someone would want to purchase it.
7: Nissan Juke
The Nissan Juke is just a Nissan Cube that was left in the wind tunnel for far too long. While it looks like a sporty SUV/Crossover thing, it really isn’t (unless you get the very rare GTR swapped one).
6: Nissan Cube
Yes, two Nissans in a row. The Nissan Cube has been on ugly lists since it came out and I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon. Nissan seems to be sticking with the name and style. I am assuming that they are secretly working on the Nissan Pyramid or Nissan Cylinder for future models.
5: Toyota FJ Cruiser
The Toyota FJ Cruiser styling has been around for awhile and I think it is time for an update. This styling was okay at best when the vehicle first came out (2006) but now it looks outdated.
4: Mitsubishi Mirage
Mitsubishi must be lacking a lot of imagination these days. The Mirage looks like one of the most boring cars on the street.
3: BMW i3
While I have to give credit to BMW for working on electric vehicles, with this vehicle BMW could have done a lot better with their styling. We can expect something like this from Nissan, Scion, or Toyota, but not BMW.
2: Mitsubishi i-MiEV
Anyone driving this vehicle needs to realize that Mitsubishi stole the design from an egg. Enough said.
1: Subaru XV Crosstrek
Number one on the list is the Pontiac Vibe… I mean… Subaru XV Crosstrek. By looking at the picture you can see how easy it would be for someone to get the two mixed up. I don’t think anyone would want to go out and purchase a new vehicle that could be mixed up with a 11 year old car, let alone it being the Pontiac Vibe. Come on Subaru, you guys can do better than this!
